Dr. Gina Hahn is an expert pelvic floor physical therapist. She helps people reconnect with their pleasure and joy even in the presence of pain and injury. She spent the early part of her career in strength and conditioning, helping clients feel resilient in their bodies and get back into the gym. She chose the pelvic floor as a specialty during her first pregnancy. She realized the need for and value of this specialization as she moved through an adverse event and came out stronger on the other side.

Gina empowers clients and helps them feel fully seen and heard, moving seamlessly from health care provider to coach to integrate and address the mind-body-soul of each client for effective and long-lasting results. Expect to lift weights, breathe, move, and do things you didn’t think possible. She knows you are the expert of your body, and she’ll teach you how to tune in and connect with your own powerful inner healer and medicine.

When Gina is off duty, you’ll find her dancing in the front row at a concert, reading in her hammock surrounded by trees, or on a tropical island with sand between her toes.

About my Certifications:

I am an expert in the following interventions that can be helpful if applied in appropriate ways and I will recommend them if it would benefit your unique recovery.

Russian Kettlebell Instructor — I use kettlebells to build body awareness, strength, and power. When kettlebells are used properly, it helps you transfer energy from your feet to your hips and your hips to your grip, which enhances athletic performance.

Dry Needling — Check out my blog on dry needling. When I recommend dry needling as part of treatment, I also incorporate physical activity. Dry needling can be a catalyst for pain relief, improved mobility, or increased strength, and then reinforced with movement and other healthy habits.

Cupping — I use cups to help mobilize the skin, fascia, scar tissue, and muscle to improve range of motion.

Selective Functional Movement Assessment — During the initial session, I take you through a series of movements and postures to determine the root of the problem. I look for differences left versus right, symptom reproduction, and ability to perform the task. On follow up sessions, I will ask you to repeat movements and add new ones as appropriate to demonstrate how your symptoms are improving or changing.
